TERMS & CONDITIONS
The below information outlines the Terms and Conditions set by Folly and Gander.
By making a deposit payment and accepting work to start you are accepting these terms and conditions.
Folly and Gander exclusively holds copyright for all designs. You, or any third party, may not copy or reproduce any of the designs sent in PDFs proofs. Any improper use of the designs will be pursued.
Proofs and process
Throughout the design process, design proofs will be sent over for you to review. As standard you will receive a first round of design, two rounds of amends and a final proof as part of the price. If further amends need to be made after two rounds of amends you will be charged additionally. It is your responsibility to ensure that all wording and detail on the designs are correct and exactly what you want. Folly and Gander cannot be held responsible for incorrect spelling mistakes or incorrect details.
Printing will take place once the final proof has been signed off by you. By paying the outstanding balance you are signing off the final designs and take full responsibility for the design, wording and layout. Please also see section on Information and Addresses below.
Please be aware that the longer you take to feedback on the design proofs the longer the overall process will take. We can estimate turnaround time but it is important to note that this is an estimate only and depends on the workload of our studio and suppliers.
Please note that samples may not always be 100% like-for-like to the final finished product due to the nature of print production and process which can result in minor variations. Please be aware that colours appear differently between screen and physical prints. Matching to colour references or Pantone colours can be tricky, but options will be given where possible and card colours samples may be sent to choose from where necessary.
Deposits and Payment
A quote will be provided for design work and printing based on your initial requests. This quote is for guidance only and is generally a good indicator of the final cost. If developments during the design process will cause the final cost to change you will be notified and the final invoice adjusted.
A deposit must be paid upon booking and before any work commences on all orders. An invoice will be provided for all charges and the remaining balance is due before the final signed off design goes to print.
The final invoice will reflect the actual costs incurred. If supplies are ordered and then changes occur, such as quantity, you may be subject to additional costs to order additional supplies.
Payment via bank transfer is preferred, but please raise the discussion about alternative options if this is an issue.
In the event of an order being cancelled by yourselves we cannot refund any money once work has commenced: ‘work’ is defined by Stationery Information Forms being filled in and sent back to us.
In the unlikely event of the order being cancelled by Folly and Gander then you will be given a full refund.
Information and Addresses
When ordering your designs, please ensure all information you give is correct. Folly and Gander cannot be held responsible for spelling mistakes or errors in information provided by you. Please triple check all spelling and etiquette. Any changes required after files are sent to print will incur a reprint at full cost. Similarly non-print work will be charged accordingly.
It is your responsibility to provide all of your information by an agreed deadline. Any information provided late may incur a rush fee and push the delivery date back.
When ordering printed items we recommend ordering more than the exact number you need incase of unforeseen circumstances. Reprints will incur a minimum charge and setup fee which can be costly if you need just a few extra copies.
We currently used Royal Mail and Parcel Force Worldwide for all deliveries. Items will be tracked and need to be signed for so please ensure there is someone to receive the parcel at your delivery address. Orders can be shipped internationally and we will source the best delivery option for these jobs. Folly and Gander can accept no responsibility for items lost in the post or delayed due to circumstances outside of our control. Collection is welcome if you are local but must be pre-arranged.
With your consent we will keep samples of your finished designs on file for photographing, portfolio and marketing purposes. This includes using them on our website and social media, including them in sample packs and displaying them at wedding fairs and events after your event has concluded. Prior to your event we may use discreet images that exclude details of your event. For example; we may share a close up shot of the design showing your names but not location or date details. We will not use anything with your home address on.
